Printed Tea Chest Carton – Pack of 10

Description

The tea chest is the big box of a house move. At 431 x 406 x 596mm it’s made for things that are bulky rather than heavy: bedding, towels and clothes, cushions, toys, lampshades, kitchenware, and small appliances like a kettle, toaster or blender.

It’s made from twin-cushion board, strong enough to protect breakables and bulky items, and its square shape stacks neatly in a removal truck, a storage unit or a shipping container. Each carton is pre-printed with space to write the contents and a “Handle With Care” label, so boxes can be marked as they’re packed, with no separate labels needed.

Keep the heavy things out. A tea chest full of books or tins is too heavy to lift safely. Put those in the smaller wine and book carton and use the tea chest for the light, bulky things.

Packing breakables. Wrap plates, glasses and ornaments one at a time in butchers paper or bubble wrap. Stand plates on their edge rather than stacking them flat, and fill the gaps so nothing moves when the box is lifted.

Tape the base along the centre seam and across both edges with clear or brown packing tape before you load it. The cartons are recyclable after use.
