Archive Carton, 404 x 310 x 258mm – Pack of 20

Description

An archive carton for storing documents, 404 x 310 x 258mm, made from heavy-duty 3CS corrugated board. It takes A4 and foolscap files and folders, and it’s a standard archive box size, so it sits neatly alongside boxes you already have in storage.

What it’s for. Clearing out filing cabinets at the end of the financial year, moving an office, sending records to off-site storage, or packing away household paperwork. Most business tax records have to be kept for five years, and a sturdy box that stacks is the simplest way to keep them in order.

The heavy-duty board is made for storage, so full cartons can be stacked on shelving or pallets. The cartons come flat, so a pack of 20 fits in a cupboard until you need them.

Packing tips. Paper is heavy, so don’t overfill: a carton packed tight with paper can be too heavy to lift safely. Write the contents and the date it can be destroyed on the front and on one end, so the box can be read on a shelf without pulling it out. Tape the base along the centre seam and across both edges with clear or brown packing tape.
