Bubble Wrap

Australian-made bubble wrap, from Lalor, in Melbourne’s north.

500mm wide on a 100m roll, single layer, 10mm bubbles — the P10 size, which is the general-purpose one. That works out at about 33 cents ex GST / 36 cents inc GST a metre.

Bubble wrap absorbs shock and vibration in transit and wraps awkward shapes that rigid packaging cannot. It is also good for interleaving — a layer between stacked items to stop surfaces rubbing.
