Black Hand Stretch Film, 500mm x 300m – 6 Rolls

Description

Opaque black stretch film for wrapping pallets by hand when the load is better kept out of sight. A carton holds six rolls, each 500mm x 300m, and the film is 25 micron cast, on 2 inch (50mm) cores. Film, size and core all match our clear stretch film; only the colour differs.

When black is the better choice. For high-value stock, branded goods heading to a customer, or anything waiting in a shared warehouse or on a truck. It gives every outgoing pallet the same tidy look.

How it holds. It’s metallocene-rich cast film, tough for its gauge, and it unwinds quietly. The grip comes from stretching the film as it goes on; the cling keeps the layers together. It holds cartons to the pallet, not the pallet to the truck, so strap or block pallets in the vehicle as usual.

Before you wrap. Count the cartons and photograph the load, because once it’s under black film it can’t be checked without slitting the wrap. Then wrap it like any pallet; the steps are on our clear film page.

Label the outside. The film hides carton labels, so stick pallet labels on two adjacent sides of the wrap and put the delivery docket in an adhesive document pouch. To write on the film, use a white or silver paint marker; ordinary black ink won’t show.

Close each carton with brown or clear packing tape before wrapping.
